On April 8th, Parlophone will re-issue Morrissey's 1991 album Kill Uncleas well as his 1989 single 'The Last of the Famous International Playboys'. However, the single will not feature the cover art that was intended. The sleeve was to feature a 1992 photo of Davd Bowie and Morrissey taken by Linder Sterling in New York, but Bowie is forcing EMI UK to not allow use the photo. The official statement reads "David Bowie has ordered EMI UK not to run the proposed artwork for Morrissey's April 8th issue of the re-mastered 'The Last of the Famous International Playboys' single and CD." Sad news, as this would have been fun to see.

Morrissey is currently taking time off to get healthy, while Bowie is preparing for his new record The Next Day, due in March .
