A last minute cancellation of Morrissey's autobiography left fans disappointed earlier this week, but it looks as though it might still get a release... and soon.

Despite Morrissey allegedly looking for a new publisher for the book - which was scheduled to be released in the UK on September 16th - Penguin have claimed that the publication is still theirs to release: "This is a deal for the UK and Europe, but Morrissey has no contract with a publisher for the U.S. or any other territory. As of 13 September, Morrissey and Penguin (UK) remain determined to publish within the next few weeks."

We're not exactly holding our breath.
