After setting a pretty high standard with his debut track 'Overdose', Norfolk-based singer/songwriter Mullally is back with a new track that raises the bar once again.

Produced by Artery, 'Troubled Love' introduces a more funk-filled sound, perhaps dipping into a lane occupied already by the likes of Ben Khan and XO with elements of Sam Smith and Jimmy Napes. With so many males in a similar arena, it's a daring task but one that Mullally seems to be able to handle with ease. "'Troubled Love' is about the longing for an experience of love that is extraordinary, different or troubled," he explains. "It's a comment on the teenage sense of entitlement - how we need 'Troubled Love' to keep us satisfied."

'Troubled Love' is available now from the usual digital stores and streaming platforms.
