Perusing the litany of music-related subs on Reddit is an endless journey. And within every sub is enough content to fill any given month of free time, and that's without taking account of the fact that the subs are usually updated multiple times per day. So for a sporadic suggestion here and there it's great. But for an organized venture, it's hardly effective.

Enter Reddit's brand new Music Player. The open source system was created by Reddit user Illyism and allows any user to select subreddits and convert them into easy to listen to playlists. The format is joyously simple, with subreddits listed on the user's left side, individual tracks in the middle column, and the playing format (in this case, YouTube) imported on the right.

You can take a deeper look at the tools used by Illyism, who posted the methods on Reddit.
