One of 2013's more out-of-nowhere welcomed breakouts came from singer-songwriter Jordan Lee, better known as Mutual Benefit. His debut album Love's Crushing Diamond was a celebration of expansive folk, effortlessly inspired by the freak-folk stylings of the '60s and '70s, but with more than enough self-awareness to avoid replaying stale habits. Finally, Lee has announced details of his proper follow-up with his new album Skip A Sinking Stone, which officially arrives May 20th on Mom + Pop in North America, Spunk in Australia and New Zealand, and Transgressive worldwide.

The album's lead single 'Not For Nothing' already boasts an animated video, courtesy of NOFUN and illustrator Greg Lapierre. The feature taps into the adventurous side in every stilted cubicle worker, hoping for a spark of direction and inspiration amid the mundane. Watch it below.
