New Forest alternative tribal-pop band, NATIVES are back from the (sonic) dead, delivering their first offering off the collective's ambitious forthcoming concept-album, set to incorporate a 20-track story and accompanying novel into the mix. Like an excavated burial ground, the quartet have returned, this time creatively fearless, upholding unadulterated pop sensibilities at the very core of new single 'Chasing Lions,' while blending African textures, laced synthesizers and drum machines to decorate their already opulent soundscapes - music that's taken the band and production collective nearly two years to craft.

"We've lived in the studio, getting lost in a story from the world which we've built whilst writing and producing this album. It was really important to disappear for a while, we wanted to create something for ourselves, clean of any influence from outside pressures," guitarist/co-producer Jack Fairbrother said in a statement.

'Chasing Lions' is to be released by The Santi Collective / LAB Records on March 17.
