Neneh Cherry, the Swedish singer/songwriter/rapper popular for her hit 'Buffalo Stance' back in the late 80s/early 90s has announced that she'll be releasing a new album in early 2014 - her first in 16 years. It's produced by Four Tet and has a guest appearance from Robyn, and Smalltown Supersound are releasing it.

Detailing the recording process of the album, which took place over 5 days, Cherry said "It was a liberating experience, not endlessly trying to fiddle with the music, re-recording hundreds of times. These days it's easy to create any effect or sound on a computer, it is much harder to get the rawness I think we've achieved."
