If you're already a Netflix subscriber, look away. However, if you aren't and are planning on getting a subscription, I may suggest doing that now. Netflix's CEO Reed Hastings has announced a $1 - $2 hike in prices for new subscribers, but those changes won't affect current subscribers for the better part of a year or two.

Netflix has been handling the change from only streaming other people's content to having their own, original (and fantastic) programming like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black quite well. However, creating awesome shows like that isn't free and has cost them a good deal of money, which would explain the eventual price hike. The new subscription prices will begin in July, and by then it's expected the company will know when the current subscribers will have to start paying the higher price.
