With the 12th edition of Le Guess Who? rapidly approaching a new batch of projects and performers have been announced for music festival. Taking place from 8th to 11th November in the picturesque city of Utrecht, Le Guess Who? is highlight for anyone with an interest in adventurous and unique music. Three special projects will be taking place during the festival, joining an already eclectic lineup curated by Devendra Banhart, Moor Mother, Asia Argento and Shabaka Hutchings.

Future Feminism - a collaborative project from Kembra Pfahler, Johanna Constantine and Anohni - will be staging a theatrical performance exploring the 13 Tenets that make up the Future Feminism Manifesto. The performance will be accompanied by a discussion about the project and a film program.

The ‘Orchestre de Nouvelles Créations, Expérimentations et Improvisations Musicales’ (ONCEIM) will be staging two pieces as part of Le Guess Who? ‘Gruides’ - a collaboration with Sunn O)))’s Stephen O’Malley - is set to explore drone and sound as a layered art form, whilst ‘Occam Océan’, born from work with French composer Éliane Radigue, explores more minimalist, electronic sounds. Both pieces are set to be extraordinary, immersive experiences.

Independent label RVNG Intl., meanwhile, celebrates 15 years with a series of performances from Kate NV, Lucrecia Dalt, Greg Fox and Oliver Coates. In addition to this, RVNG will be shining the spotlight on two pieces from the FRKWYS series. Ian William Craig’s collaboration with Daniel Lentz gets its festival premiere, whilst a collaboration between Finnish electronic composer Pekka Airaksinen and NYC multi-instrumentalist Ka Baird will not only premiere at Le Guess Who? but also be recorded live at the festival.

Finally, new acts have been added to the curator lineup with acts including Eartheater, FAKA, LYZZA, Orchestra Of Spheres, Rose McGowan and more. The full lineup, as well as information on the artists, can be found on the Le Guess Who? website.
