Produced by Kjartan Sveinsson from Sigur rós, it won Best Alternative Album at the 2007 Iceland Music Awards as well as Record of the Year at Iceland's largest daily newspaper, Morgunblaðið. Despite release only in Iceland, word of mouth – including Bjork’s patronage earned Við og Við high profile plaudits in the U.S. ranking in Paste Magazine's Top 100 Albums of 2007 and eMusic's editors Best albums of 2008 list. The Xcerts The Xcerts bassist Jordan Smith has fractured his wrist whilst skateboarding only a few days before the band embark on a two month touring schedule. However the band have made a decision to honor all the dates with Jordan spending a frantic few days learning new parts on different instruments. Wow, that's commitment! Throw Me the Statue Throw Me the Statue Releases New Video for Hi-Fi Goon'' 'Hi-Fi Goon' was directed by Jason Argyropoulos for Tree Filmworks with cinematography by Bryce Fortner. Throw Me the Statue's 'Hi-Fi Goon"' is featured on their recent release, Creaturesque, and the band is currently finishing up a U.S. tour: Warp/ATP Warp Films and ATP have programmed a unique UK cinematic/live tour of ALL TOMORROW’S PARTIES screening together with a live concert from Brooklyn based art-rockers Les Savy Fav plus a DJ set by ATP founder Barry Hogan, from 23 October 2009, prior to the DVD release on 2 November 2009.
