Transgressive Records 5th Anniversary Gig This time next month the Union Chapel, Islington will be playing host to the 5th anniversary of Transgressive Records, including performances by Johnny Flynn (pictured above), Jeremy Warmsley, Mechanical Bride and Dan Michaelson & The Coastguards. For more information on the event click here The Libertines Image and video hosting by TinyPic When Pete Doherty was performing at Kentish Town pub, the Torriano, last night, the Libertines' first drummer, Paul Dufour, made a surprise appearance for an impromptu 'reunion' show. Okay, not quite the Libertines reunion that fans have been waiting for, seeming as Carl Barat and... the other one were missing. Madonna Image and video hosting by TinyPic Madonna's been shown up as an enemy of Christianity once again, as the Bulgarian Orthodox Church has urged her fans to boycott her forthcoming 'Sticky and Sweet' tour. The Church claims that Madonna's performances show an utter disrespect to their religion. This is of course ludicrous. I can think of some far better reasons not to see Madonna live.
