The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner is bringing his '41 Strings' to London this June. Originally composed in 2011, it was an idea of Hisham Akira Bharoocha’s (Soft Circle, The Boredoms) as a way to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Earth Day.

Having only visited New York and Sydney Opera House, the moving performance is said to encompass all that Zinner is as an artist; versatile and electric. It will be brought to life by 45 musicians on violins, violas, cellos, electric and acoustic guitars, electric bass, drums, with a little added synth to really set the mood. Joining Zinner on stage is a huge list of incredible talent including Romy Madley Croft (The xx), Romeo Stodart (Magic Numbers), Lindsey Troy (Deap Vally), Gemma Thompson (Savages), Jeff Wootton and Seye (Damon Albarn band).

Inspired by the four seasons, this show is set to be an evocative spectacle of sound. 41 Strings will take over London's Royal Festival Hall on Friday June 20. Watch a glimpse of the show below.
