Bringing together talented musicians like Nicolas Jaar, Holly Herndon, Julia Holter, Basinski, and more seems almost too good to be true, but that's exactly what's happened on Jaar's newest piece, 'Other People's Imaginary Feast'. It was crafted to showcase his collaborator Tlacael Esparza's new hardware/software system called Sensory Percussion, which "enables drummers to easily control an unlimited array of electronic samples, synths and audio effects with any acoustic drum kit." The invention made its debut on Kickstarter last week, and you can get a taste of what to expect by checking out the song below, and streaming the entire thing at Sensory Percussion's website.
