Nils Frahm teases fans with a video preview for his new album Spaces in the run-up to its release this November.

Recorded over two-years, Spaces stretches our understanding of how a series of piano instrumentals should lay together, the album is both inescapably beautiful and at times compositionally bizarre.

Recorded in multiple locations on various mediums, including cassette tape decks and reel-to-reel portable reorders, Spaces is not described by Frahm as a live classical album but a "collage of field recordings rather than a live album."

Spaces is to be released via Erased Tapes on November 18th. Watch the trailer below.
