Update: Nine Inch Nails confirm new song 'Came Back Haunted' will premiere this week, and "harkens back to early Nine Inch Nails," says KROQ Music Director Lisa Worden.

It's been nearly five years since Nine Inch Nails released The Slip, but Trent Reznor has been keeping busy. Last week brought the unexpected announcement that, not only has Reznor finished working on a new full length NIN record, but it's ready for release. We don't have to wait too long to hear something off the new LP either, as according to Las Vegas radio station X1075, the new Nine Inch Nails single will debut on air, Thursday, June 6.

The new NIN album will be released via Columbia Records, who also released the full length How to Destroy Angels record, but no date just yet. For now we get to hear the brand new single and the chance to catch the new incarnation of Nine Inch Nails on a handful of late summer shows and festivals. [via CoS]
