The MOBO Awards nominees have been announced and every category is jostling with big acts – tough to pick a prospective winner, you might as well just guess. A few examples of this: FKA Twigs is up for Best Female Act (alongside Little Simz, Ella Eyre, Lianne La Havas, Jess Glynne) and two Best Video nominations, for 'Pendulum' and 'Glass & Patron', which also sees Chris Brown x Rita Ora, Stormzy and Lethal Bizzle nominated. Twigs will also be performing live on the night, 4th November in Leeds, UK.

In the Best Newcomer category, we see Nao, grime crew Section Boyz, and George The Poet, amongst others, up for nomination.

Meanwhile, Mark Ronson, Krept & Konan, Stormzy, JME, and Skepta make up the nominees for the Best Male category; brothers JME and Skepta are also up for Best Grime act along with Stormzy, Lethal Bizzle and Bugzy Malone.

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars are up for Best Song – in the form of 'Uptown Funk', of course – as is Skepta, Tinie Tempah & Jess Glynne, JME & Giggs (for 'Man Don't Care'), and Krept & Konan, who are also up for Best Album with JME, Wiley, Lianne La Havas and Jamie xx. You can find the full list of nominations here.
