Syrian performer and musician Omar Souleyman has been getting more notice after Sublime Frequencies assisted with several of his compilations. His 2011 remixes for Bjork's Biophilia as well as his performances at that year's Glastonbury Festival and ATP Nightmare Before Christmas also made waves.

Now Souleyman is ready to drop his debut LP with none other than Four Tet handling the producer role.

Kieran Hebden mentioned the record during his appearance on WYNU's Beats in Space radio program, saying that Ribbon Music would release the album this year. Now confirmed by Pitchfork, the untitled record that Four Tet and Souleyman have been recording in Brooklyn should drop sometime this fall.
