Toronto based duo, Once A Tree, impressed earlier this year with their debut 'Light Me Up' and now comes their second single 'Howling' a much more confident single which is the sound of them nailing what it is they want to do. It takes a much darker tone to 'Light Me Up' with chilled out reverb that wouldn't sound out of place on a Purity Ring track with some trap beats thrown on top and a wobbly dubstep-lite bass. Add Jayli Wolf's almost mystical vocals into the mix and you have a track that pulls from pretty much everywhere in electronic music to create something impressively dark.
