Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never, seems to be pretty restless in his work ethic. Following up his critically lauded 2015 album Garden Of Delete, he created the score for the film Good Time, landing himself an award at Cannes. He recently revealed his latest project, an art installation called MYRIAD, and has this week revealed that amidst all that he's created a whole new studio album called Age Of.

OPN's work has been broadening in its voracious genre-mashing over the course of his output, with Garden Of Delete being genuinely impossible to describe in few words. It seems Age Of will encompass even more, as the press release describes it as "weaving a tapestry of disparate musical histories — early music, country and folk balladry, melodic pop, computer music and much, much more."

Lopatin also recently announced MYRIAD, "a theatrical, medium-spanning installation and four-part epochal song cycle," which has already sold out two dates at New York's Park Avenue Armory, with a third performance having been added - as well as one at London's Barbican on July 7th. The trailer for MYRIAD can be seen below, featuring the opening, title track from Age Of.

Age Of will come out through Warp on June 1st. Get more information on Age Of and MYRIAD at myriad.industries.
