Mr. Daniel Lopatin aka Oneohtrix Point Never will be scoring a new film, a thriller, called Partisan. Is it better to say score or soundtrack? I don't know.

The film is the debut feature from Australian director Ariel Kleiman and stars French actor extraordinaire Vincent Cassel, replacing Oscar Isaac (now starring in the very new Star Wars: The Force Awakens), who was originally slated to star in Kleiman's film; it premieres at the Sundance Film Festival later this month.

In 2013, Variety reported that the film "sees Cassel play a charismatic and troubled man named Gregori, who raises his children to attack the world that wronged him."

It continues: "The story is told through the eyes of 11 year-old Alexander, who starts to question Gregori’s deadly and vengeful teachings."

Lopatin is no stranger to soundtracking stuff, having worked alongside Brian Reitzell to score Sofia Coppola's 2013 film The Bling Ring and last year re-scoring 1995 anime Magnetic Rose (Koji Morimoto).

Here is the trailer.
