Pete Doherty's recently reformed band The Libertines have been confirmed for this year's Optimus Alive. The band will headline the event on Saturday July 12th - a day they'll share with Bastille, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Nicholas Jaar and many others. This year's edition will also feature Arctic Monkeys, Interpol, Imagine Dragons, The Black Keys, MGMT, Caribou, SBTRKT, Russian Red, Parquet Courts, The War on Drugs, and many other acts.

Also confirmed for the event are The Last Internationale, Phantogram, as well as Jamie XX and Friends, Pearson Sound, Pantha du Prince (Live), Daphni, Midland and Tasker, Boys Noize, and Gunrose.

The Optimus Alive Festival takes place in Passeio Marítimo de Algés, Lisbon, between July 10th and 12th. Tickets are now on sale and prices range from €53 (one day) to €105 (three-day pass).
