Our Lost Infantry have completed a new song, ‘Scissorfight’, and made it available for free download. Recorded on a wet Sunday afternoon, it showcases a more experimental sound than their previous releases. ‘Scissorfight’ was recorded, mixed and mastered by the band themselves within six hours. They used just one microphone, free legal software and a Mac. Having been featured on Steve Lamacq’s Radio 2 show and supported the likes of Sky Larkin, The Northwestern and Johnny Foreigner in 2009, OLI are currently busy planning a tour for early 2010. ‘Scissorfight’ is the first in a series of new and reworked songs OLI will be recording and releasing for free over the next few months.
