You probably know by now that OX4 is back after last years SOLD OUT event. Happening on 9th October, OX4 festival will take place across 10 or so venues along Oxford’s (in)famous Cowely Road. With the first set of bands already announced (here) it's now time to tell you about the latest additions to the line-up. Announced today, new additions to the line-up include Willy Mason, Breton and local folk legend John Spiers, who will be headlining the Oxford Folk Festival stage; alongside Huffenpuff, Roxy Brennan and Steph West. Also announced today were the rocksome twosome Phantom Theory, Oxford's next big thing– the Dead Jerichos and Oxford's best (and only) rapper Mr Shaodow! All these acts will be joined by headliners Everything Everything, Abe Vigoda and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, as well as a whole load of other previously announced bands. Despite the exceptionally good musical line-up, OX4 is not just about the live music, there’s also a whole host of other activities going on. One such activity is ‘OX4university’, this event gives you the chance to listen to, talk with and ask questions of some of the leading lights of the 'music industry' that are still based in Oxford. Furthermore, during OX4 The Cowley Road will be hosting a take-over record store. The store, which will stock Cds, DVDs and all sorts of other goodies, will go through the entire life cycle of a record shop, from the opening party to its closing down sale, all in the course of one weekend. OX4 aims to bring OX4rdians together to celebrate where they live and the talented people that live there. Since it's also part of Oxfam’s Oxjam music festival, OX4 is not only a great place to discover and enjoy brilliant new talent, but also a good way to help raise money and awareness for a great cause. Limited early tickets for this even are on sale now and can be purchased here online. For more information, including the full lineup visit
