Pajama People give us 'Wintertime (In My Woods)', a warm and summery offering, contrary to its title. Front woman Lindsay Gordon's radiant vocal works effortlessly over the jingle-infused beat and building synth blips. The synths allow the song to carry something more than just a generic synthpop track - sometimes the sequence is like an alien dialect. Well, can't confirm what extraterrestrials really sound like, but it could very well be along those lines.

The chorus steps up with a thudding bass. Intense and fuzzy, the last has a crunching effect, leaving a bewildering lasting impression. 'Wintertime (In My Woods)' is taken from the Brooklyn quartet’s debut album, Cool Intentions, out on 26th April.
