Since Palace's debut back in 2009, they've grown to be arguably one of the UK's biggest and most popular skate brands. Although they started out as just that, making a few decks and wheels along with some t-shirts, their brand has expanded and today they announced their up and coming collaboration with footwear and sportswear giants Reebok (Classics).

Having already had a clothing collaboration with Umbro in 2012, this has been a long time coming, and sneakerheads and skaters alike will be licking their lips at this release.

This is not just a big occasion for Palace however, for whom this is their first ever footwear collaboration. For Reebok, it sees their first ever excursion into skateboarding, which is a risk, but one which everyone will understand, with Palace being such a force throughout the skate world at present. This year has already seen some great collaborations from Reebok, with the likes of Mita, Hanon and Frank the Butcher.

The collaboration sees 2 classic Reebok trainers, the Classic Leather and Workout, in 4 different colourways (2 for each trainer), which all feature some Palace branding on the tongues and insoles. Although this doesn't sound groundbreaking, Palace aren't making it out to be.

"For the first time ever, we've done some Palace shoes. Basically, the four best Reebok Classic colourways are coming out with the Palace triangle on them."

There is little release information so far, and images are yet to surface, but there is a teaser video available to watch here.

The scheduled release is Friday 12th July 2013. No word on what stores will have the shoes yet, but on the poster it says 'You can only get them from our favourite shops'.
