Branching out with another new project is Deftones member Chino Moreno. This time, the Deftones' frontman teamed up with three members of legendary doom metal band Isis, which disbanded back in 2010, as Palms.

'Patagonia' is a fairly lengthy, epic attempt, which is more than expected when former Isis members come into the foray. Moreno isn't shy about breaking new ground as he is here. He previously dabbled in trip-hop with Team Sleep and even took a small venture into the witch house movement.

It's the first new material from Moreno since the death of former bassist Chi Cheng, who died after spending years in a coma as the result of a near-fatal car collision earlier this month.
