Parquet Courts recently released the video for the title track to their forthcoming record, 'Wide Awake!', and in it we saw the boys having a grand old time during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Today they follow it up with 'Mardi Gras Beads', and while the video does pick up where the previous left off, it is a much more sombre and grey affair.

Untrue to its title, 'Mardi Gras Beads' is Parquet Courts at their most stoic and contemplative - although they do inject some rousing marching moments into the song. The video matches this, starting in colour in New Orleans, but soon shifts to a black and white film focusing on Austin's solo ventures. Check it out below.

Parquet Courts' Wide Awake! comes out through Rough Trade on May 18th.
