The second edition of Cardiff's Festival of Voice is set to take place this coming June, and the initial line-up has just been announced. Leading the first wave is the legendary Patti Smith, who will play St John’s Church on June 11th but will also take the stage the following day at Wales Millennium Centre for An Evening with Patti Smith - an event featuring equally legendary Lenny Kaye and Tony Shanahan.

Another major confirmation is Gruff Rhys, whose performance (on June 10th) will feature the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, who are currently celebrating their 90th anniversary. Passenger, Billy Bragg, Nadine Shah, Laura Veirs, Karine Polwart, and The Tiger Lillies complete the list.

Festival of Voice will be taking over multiple locations of Cardiff between June 7th-17th. For more information about the line-up and tickets head over to their website. We're also pretty excited to announce we're media partners for the festival, so grab your tickets and come hang with us in Cardiff this June.
