After weeks of speculation, Paul McCartney has confirmed that his new album will be released on February 6th, and will be called 'Kisses On The Bottom'.

The album is made up of standards, and two new original tracks.

Speaking of the title, McCartney had this so say:

The phrase ‘Kisses On The Bottom,’ however, actually comes from the album’s opener ‘I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter’. Originally made a big hit by Fats Waller in 1935, the song opens with the lines "I’m gonna sit right down and write myself a letter and make believe it came from you. I’m gonna write words oh so sweet. They’re gonna knock me off of my feet. A lot of kisses on the bottom, I’ll be glad I got ‘em’".
