Psych duo Peaking Lights have announced they'll be releasing a new album this year. The Fifth State of Consciousness follows their 2014 LP Cosmic World and finds the duo moving from Weird World to new label Two Flower Records.

The 12-track release was produced by Aaron Coyes at the band's own Dreamfuzz studio and is described as a "small junkyard with many happy mistakes" by Coyes himself. Mixing a variety of genres from psych to house and reggae, The Fifth State of Consciousness is about "dreams, strength, a loss of innocence, and seeking an enlightened state of being after overcoming life’s trials and tribulations."

The album isn't out until June 16th but its first taster, 'Everytime I See The Light', can be heard right now.
