Brighton natives Peggy Sue have revealed details of their forthcoming album, Peggy Sue Play The Songs Of Scorpion Rising, which will be released July 23rd, available directly from the band's website and store. In Spring 2011 Peggy Sue were invited to a temporary cinema in Hackney, London to play a live soundtrack to Kenneth Anger's 1963 film, Scorpio Rising. The band took the film's soundtrack and re-arranged it to make 12 new songs. After practicing they recorded the new songs to make the forthcoming album.

On Sunday July 22nd the band will support the unofficial soundtrack with two special shows. Taking place in East London, the band will play in an abandoned WW2 bunker, seating just 50 people, making the shows extremely intimate. Tickets for the show are on sale now!
