Remember Beastie Boys' classic album cover for their 1989 album Paul's Boutique? It shows an intersection of Ludlow and Rivington Street in Brooklyn, that fans are now asking to be named "Beastie Boys Square".

"When Adam Yauch passed away, people came here for three or four days putting candles and flowers out, taking photos, really mourning his death," a local business owner explained "At least one person comes in each week asking if it's Paul's Boutique."

The request comes after a Brooklyn park having been recently renamed in honour of Adam Yauch, and the petition is being carried on by LeRoy McCarthy, the man that also started a similar action in tribute of the Notorious BIG.
