The debut album of folk rock singer Phoebe Bridgers has been announced for September 22nd on Dead Oceans.

The record's lead single 'Motion Sickness' can be heard as a lyric music video below (directed by Phoebe's brother, Jackson). Although professing a more buoyant urgency than her stunning solo single 'Smoke Signals' (which will also feature on the album), it's just as introspective and meditative, delighting in surprising details and disarming thoughts.

She describes the record's genesis; “I wasn’t trying to be too lo-fi, too hi-fi, too self-serious, too disingenuous… I feel pretty confident that I’m finding my voice[...] I wanted the album to completely represent who I am and these songs are representative of what I set out to do.”
