Newcastle-based riffmongers Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs have been building up a reputation for their storming live shows off the back of their Rocket Recordings album Feed The Rats last year. Much like their frenetic songs, Pigs7 are literally spewing with energy, and as such they have found the time to write and record a new album called King of Cowards, which will be coming out on September 28th.

The first track to be shared from King of Cowards, is the effervescent 'Cake Of Light', a song of relative brevity but maximum brawn, which rolls and reels its way through a variety of riffs, each one more monstrous than the one that preceded it. The result is a roiling rocker, full of sneering attitude on the surface and a definite undercurrent of black magic that seems to be luring you from deep inside their domineering rock sound. Check out 'Cake oF Light' below.
