With her debut album Like Water Through The Sand out on November 16th, we asked London-based, France-born pianist Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch to craft us a mix for our Plastic Platform series.

Mixing Gainsbourg and Les Rita Mitsouko (because a playlist is the only place these two can be mixed), Françoise Hardy et Indochine, Verdi et Bashung (along with many more) she describes it as "a nostalgic selection of songs and music that marked a childhood on the continent. With a lot of more or less cheesy French Pop and Hip Hop, a pinch of Classical Music, and cues from The Big Blue, one of the first soundtrack that captured my imagination and love."
