As we started to head into spring, it's natural that more bright and vibrant music would become more appealing, and many of our April Tracks of the Day could be potential songs of summer - or at least harbingers of good times to come soon. Tracks from Let's Eat Grandma, Snail Mail and Kevin Krauter certainly bring the sunshine to this playlist. But there's some denser material too, the return of black metal kings Deafheaven, the heady electronic anthem of Lotic's 'Hunted', and the wacked out synths of Oliver Coates' 'Charlev', to name just a few. Spend your Bank Holiday catching up on some of the greatest new tracks of recent weeks.

On Spotify you can follow The 405's April Tracks of the Month playlist here, or keep up to date with our full playlist of Tracks of the Day from 2018 here, which is updated each day. The full list of our April tracks is beneath the embedded playlist.
