Japanese psychedelic outfit 幾何学模様 / Kikagaku Moyo possess a certain level of spirit and sensibility. Their progressive songs naturally take the listener beyond; a journey into a more peaceful realm.

幾何学模様 / Kikagaku Moyo have been pushing psychedelic boundaries with their own unique vibes since 2012, and released their sophomore album Forest of Lost Children via Beyond Beyond Is Beyond earlier this year. Although fluid in their approach, the music is at times more fierce as they mold each lengthy jam according to their mood. Much like the collaborative playlist below, the music is completely free and entirely consuming.

They received a whole lot of praise after their live set at Austin Psych Fest earlier this year and are currently touring the UK for the first time. They hit The Shacklewell Arms this coming Friday (Oct 24th) with a show you really don't want to miss. Grab your tickets here and discover a few worldly gems by pressing play below:

The Night Collectors - 'Voice of the Cicada'

Golden Cup - 'Untitled 1'

Khun Narin - 'Lam Phu Thai'

Six Organs of Admittance - 'Home'

It's obvious from the above that Kikagaku Moyo look far and wide for influence; a scope that's resulted in enchanting sounds and psychedelic beauty. We'll leave you with one of their own:
