It's been a while since we had an episode of Views From The 405, so naturally we had plenty to catch up on - so much so that we had to eschew our regular retrospective section in order to get through all the great new albums that have been released, including LCD Soundsystem's comeback album American Dream, The ever-consistent National, Zola Jesus' bold Okovi, Hundred Waters gem of a third album Communicating and many more.

On top of that we looked back on a fantastic End Of The Road festival, discussed some of the biggest music news stories, and highlighted some of our favourite new music pieces, which included Sheldon Pearce's 'Therapy Is Gangsta: Hip-Hop’s Views on Mental Health Are Evolving' on Pitchfork; Selim Bulut's profile of Björk on Dazed; Grant Rindner's piece 'How Jai Paul changed the sound of pop with just two songs'; and Jazz Monroe's profile of King Krule on Pitchfork.

Listen to all that, with much more in between, below. You can subscribe to the Views From The 405 podcast on iTunes, TuneIn, Stitcher, Google Play, and Overcast. You can also listen to the podcast over at Pippa.
