While the headline of "Fresno Police arrest teen for posting Eminem lyrics" is generating a sea of click-bait, there is actually something to the story that broke today.

According to the area's newspaper The Fresno Bee, the unnamed 15-year-old teen posted lyrics to Eminem's 2000 song 'I'm Back', which is notorious for its specific references to the 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Colorado. As a result, the San Joaquin Memorial High School and the student's former school St. Anthony’s were actually closed on Tuesday, September 1st. And while that maneuver seemed a tad presumptuous, when police ultimately raided the 15-year-old's home they discovered "several guns, ammunition, and a bulletproof vest."

During a press conference Tuesday, Fresno police Chief Jerry Dyer noted that detectives "have every reason to believe that there was potential for a threat to be carried out." Additionally, Chief Dyer claimed the 15-year-old in question had a poor reputation of being a loner and social outcast - claims that were then refuted by the family's lawyers.

The schools fully reopened on Wednesday.
