Polyvinyl Records have announced the second of a singles series, simply called Singles Series Vol. 2. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Last year they released the 7" Singles Series, which actually came after another compilation curated and produced to raise money for the victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami in 2011.

Set to include tracks from Telekinesis, Saint Pepsi (*heart melts*), Ducktails, MGMT, of Montreal and Foxygen, it is already shaping up to be a damn fine collection of music. Oh, and like last time, the artists are under just one creative constraint: they have to record their tracks using a four-track cassette recorder. Fun!

Since he's on the bill, let's hark back to when Saint Pepsi released the inexplicably fun 'Unhappy'.
