They say don't work with children or animals, but they're obviously not aware of the 405's obsession for all things cat-related. Wait, we mean dog-related. Yes, dogs.

Following our recent feature on Iain Woods and the wonderful Robin, we sent Carl Osbourn to hang out with Snow Ghosts and their two dogs in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow. We doubled down for this one.

Pop Pups: Snow Ghost

Firstly, what's your dog's name and what made you pick it (the name and the dog)?
Ross: Indiana Tones (Indy).

Hannah: His name is Neo, but I didn't choose it as he is a rescue Dog. I was going to change it to 'Neil' but once I had had him for a week I realised that he is definitely not a Neil...

When did you get the dog and how would you describe your relationship?
Ross: I've had him since a puppy about 2 years ago and our relationship is very much like this.

Hannah: Neo was 2 when I adopted him. It has taken him all of our time together to realise that I am boss...and sometimes I still have to remind him. I love him to bits, but he is a little shit and we have had our run-ins in the past, including him biting my nose quite badly. We are friends now though, especially when I have cheese.

What's your dog's favourite toy?
Ross: Cats.

Hannah: Tennis Balls (it's the only thing that will distract from cats).

Do you think your dog likes your music?
Ross: He mainly sleeps through it so no... I think he's more of a Sam Smith fan as I have a video of him appreciating his dulcet tones (he'll hate me saying that and say he was only listening ironically).

Hannah: Neo recognises my singing... apparently if he ever hears a recording of me when I'm not around, he goes nuts and runs round the flat. I'm not sure if that means he likes it or not.

Has your dog shown any musical talent?
Ross: He added addition percussion to 'Lament' on the album and he's laid down the drum track on an MPD32 for Py.

Hannah: I have taught Neo to bark on cue and we have performed Christmas duet together. I think he shows promise but he is definitely a bit of a diva!

If your dog was a famous jazz musician, who would (s)he be?
Ross: Moondog

Hannah: He has done a good bit of time in doggy jail, so it would have to be someone with a record, but that doesn't exactly narrow it down does it?!

Does your dog have any special skills?
Ross: Ninja ear licking.

Hannah: Stealth Pooing! He somehow manages to pop them deep in to bushes or places you can't get to, like other dimensions.

What is your favourite celebrity dog (real or fictional)?
Oli: Snoopy. or Jake Adventure Time.

Ross: Brains from Inspector Gadget.

Hannah: Copper from 'The Fox and the Hound'.

Lastly, what do you have coming up (non-dog related) that we should know about?
The album is out now. We'll be touring the UK with Portico this April.
