Orcas have announced their first ever London gig at Cafe OTO on the 26th May. Their new album has been the darling of critics since it was released, and listening to it now I can confirm it's well worth hearing - one of the best ambient pop records I've heard in a long time (think Max Richter's ebbing composition and tempo with a Darkstar circa North beat and voice with a Vondelpark flourish and you're not far off).

Needless to say then, their gig at the renowned Cafe OTO in London will be something special. On top of their performance as Orcas, the duo (Rafael Anton Irisarri and Benoît Pioulard) will be playing solo sets as well which is pretty exciting.

You can also download their track 'Carrion' here, which is well worth doing.

We've got a pair of tickets to the aforementioned gig, plus a download of their self titled album to give away to one reader as well, all you have to do is email hello@thefourohfive.com and we'll select a winner in the run up to the gig.
