Prince's 1984 classic Purple Rain is finally getting a deluxe release, decades after the original album was released. The late icon is now on streaming services and the roll-out will continue with new music from the Paisley Park vault, which will make its way to the deluxe album.

The posthumous release is set for delivery on June 9 and will include a remastered edition of the album, as well as unreleased music and concert footage. Plans for the release were previously "agreed upon with Prince before he passed away," according to a statement.
