Every year Glastonbury has its fair share of rumoured-to-play artists, and 2014 is no exception - with Prince leading the list. But if you were hoping to see him visiting Somerset this Summer, we have bad news for you: Glastonbury organisers have refuted the rumours.

"He's someone that will be amazing one day, he's somebody that we haven't had, and we would love to have him at Glastonbury. But no, no we haven't," organiser Emily Eavis told BBC Radio 6 Music's Mary Anne Hobbs. "For me I get really excited about the new stuff, those on the Park Stage and the smaller stages around the outside of the site which you. You can find someone who is brilliant, and think you can put them on here, because by June everyone is going to be really excited about them."

This year's edition of Glastonbury festival is held between June 25th and 29th, with Blondie, Warpaint and Arcade Fire being the first confirmed names.
