Psychic Markers started the year in style by releasing their second album Hardly Strangers via Bella Union, and will be finishing it in strong fashion by touring through the remaining months. Ahead of this stretch of gigs they've shared 'We Must Believe In Magik', a song originally by Jack Clement that caught their attention when introduced by a friend, as they explain:

"Our friend Keith Wood (Hush Arbors, Chelsea Light Moving) would always pop over whilst on tour and everytime he would play a song that would blow my mind and on one occasion he played me this song. Embarrassingly I had know idea who Jack Clement was but the song stuck with me, it’s one of those songs that I wish I could write but never will... Beautiful, raw and otherworldly."

Even though they profess to never being able to write a song like this, they have truly made a sweeping and engrossing version of 'We Must Believe In Magik'. They've taken the original guitar melody and lyrics and reproduced them in their own churning style, but they've claimed it as their own in the way they've added layers of psychedelic expansion to the track through synthesizer beds and studio wizardry. Listen to their version of 'We Must Believe In Magik' below, and make note of those tour dates beneath.
