Toronto's PUP have revealed the details of their new album: it's called Morbid Stuff and will come out on April 5th via their own label Little Dipper. Along with the announcement PUP have shared the barnburning lead single 'Kids', which is rife with joyous hopelessness, as Stefan Babcock explains:

“'Kids’ is a love song from one nihilistic depressive to another. It's about what happens when you stumble across the only other person on the face of this godless, desolate planet that thinks everything is as twisted and as fucked up as you do. And thanks to them, the world starts to seem just a little less bleak. But only slightly - it's still pretty fucked up to be honest.”

It's a testament to PUP's excellence at writing viscerally thrilling depressive missives that even in hearing Babcock spew the lines "I've been navigating my way through the mind-numbing reality of a godless existence/ which, at this point in my hollow and vapid life, has erased what little ambition I've got left," raises the broadest of smiles - because you know you're set for a bucking guitar blast. PUP do not disappoint in 'Kids', which comes blasting forth with pile-on riffs, gang-up vocals and sing-along hooks as thick and meaty as The Rock's forearms. Check out 'Kids' below.
