Make sure you head to The 405's Green Man hub for all the latest previews, reviews and features from this year's event.

Icelandic electronica group Samaris are an absolute must-see at this year's Green Man Festival. With their sophomore album Silkidrangar released earlier this year via One Little Indian, the band will be taking over the Brecon Beacons this weekend. We had a brief chat with them to find out more...

Why should people come and see you at Green Man?

People should come and see us at Green Man festival because we have never been to Wales before and we're really excited! We will have some brand new outfits (and glitter) and we will be playing songs from our new album Silkidrangar.

Do you approach festival sets differently to ordinary shows?

Yes, totally! It depends on the time and the setting. We have played some festivals in Europe where we have been on very early in the day - if this is the case we like to play a more relaxed set. If we get a nice late night set we can have more fun dropping the heavy bass for people to dance to.

If you were given the keys to Green Man, who would you ask to headline and why?

Warren G, because rhythm is life, and life is rhythm. But seriously Joni Mitchell or Enya. Either of them would be perfect.

Who will you be looking to check out at this year's Green Man?

We really love Caribou and Ben Ufo; can't wait to see them! Our good friend Farao is also playing on the Saturday and we'll definitely be there to see her set.

Lastly, would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?

We live in the present. Peace out. See you in Wales!
