This year, the Leeds and Bradford based Recon Festival is looking towards the future. Or, rather, the technological future, as they've deemed their 2015 lineup to be "technology-focused". They've got Mumdance, Karen Gwyer, and Container on the lineup, as well as the Warp duo Plaid, local group Hookworms, and The Space Lady from San Francisco.

Andy Abbott, the festival's organizer, explained the concept a bit more saying “Whether they’re collaborating with innovators or repurposing tools for things they were never intended, artists push the boundaries of how we relate to technology – often revealing a humanistic and soulful side to the purely functional. I think with the line-up this year we’ll experience a diverse range of approaches from musicians, artists, filmmakers doing just that.”

Recon has no sponsors and neither Abbott or his co-director Tom Hammond take any money from the festival, as Hammond says that it's “very much a labour of love to try and bring some great acts to Leeds and Bradford.” Check out the entire lineup below - it takes place throughout the entire month of October and is pretty stacked, with an awesome event almost every single night for you to check out. You can find out more information on Recon's website.
