Record Shopping with Agar Agar at Flashback RecordsTy Segall - Manipulation

My favourite album of Ty. Reminds me of my friends in LA who used to run this art gallery called Sunday. Best days! Also, Ty on stage is something I’ll never forget, saw him in La Cigale. Got really wet.

Record Shopping with Agar Agar at Flashback RecordsThe Pixies - Doolittle

Classic!! I am simply MADLY in love with this album. All of the tracks are unique and beautiful. It inspired me in terms of composition, and his voice, when he screams. So pleasant, it’s like dipping your chip in good hummus.

Record Shopping with Agar Agar at Flashback RecordsOneothrix Point Never - Age Of

OPN is a hero, a genius. Best concert I've seen so far. He slapped me in the face with a huge hammer. I almost died. I may have died and come back from the dead.

Record Shopping with Agar Agar at Flashback RecordsMadonna - Like a Virgin

Madonna is my favourite pop star ever. Her early days were the best. I also really dig her American Life period. She's a true Cowboy.

Queen Latifah is so fancy you could never beat her level. Of course talking about the early days as well… Unity and all. Mad.

Record Shopping with Agar Agar at Flashback RecordsAtmosphere - Electronic Music (library music):

I have this weird passion for library music. That kind of music that was only made for commercial purposes, not being distributed to people, but only to companies, and often sorted by emotions it was supposed to carry. It all began with Muzak, and when it hit Europe and Japan it went crazy. Some genius’ were discovered in Library Music (Bernard Fevre, Cosmos 2043). A lot of good electronic shit in there, since synthesisers where often considered as a cheap thus economic tool to make music in the '70s. I dig a lot in modern and old library music, it really inspires me.

Video games music, yeah. Streets Of Rage 2’s music, oh yeah. Smells good

Record Shopping with Agar Agar at Flashback RecordsTransient 5

The older I get, the more I love trance fucking music. Why? I don’t know man, it's just good shit that makes your serotonin pulse as hell. Some people say it cures diarrhoea and all kinds of pain in the ass. I believe them. Especially if it’s '90s trance.

Record Shopping with Agar Agar at Flashback Recordsfsol - we have explosive

It’s getting a little bit cheesy right? Still works on me, still in the future.

Record Shopping with Agar Agar at Flashback RecordsMira Calix - One on One (Warp Records promo disc)

I don’t know that record nor the artist. I’m giving myself a surprise. I mean, it can't be bad if it's from Warp, from 2002 and it’s a promo album with return sheets in it (and with smiley faces on it).
