James Brown: I recently watched The Rise of James Brown documentary on the plane and Questlove was on there and he was saying how this was a must-have record for families in the United States when he was growing up. Also, it’s the closest thing I’ll ever get to going to one of his shows.
Superorganism: This is one of my favourite records of the year. Most of the band are Kiwi like us and I love the record. It’s fresh production-wise.
Grizzly Bear:This one is a favourite amongst my friends. I picked it out because I need to listen to it a bit more!
Moby: I really like this record. He’s a big inspiration for me production-wise, especially for the stuff I produce for myself. I recently listened to a funny podcast about him and how a missing box set of CDs lead to Play.
Nine Inch Nails: When this record came out it was so crazy and different and I wish people still made records that are as out there as that. The band deserves the same platform now that they had back then.

The War on Drugs: I just love this record because every song is my vibe and I saw them play at Coachella this year and it was amazing!
Bon Iver: This is one of my favourite records ever. Everyone likes his older stuff but I think the newer stuff is genius.
Fleetwood Mac: The first song on this album is 'Albatross' and I picked it because of that song which I used to listen to for hours on end at the beach. The longest I ever listened to it was 2-and-a-half hours and I played a game to see who noticed that it was the same song over and over again.
Bob Marley: I just love Bob so much and this is one of the records we used to listen to a lot as kids. He’s the one artist I get upset about not being able to see live.
Lana Del Rey: Honestly, this was the only record I could find by a girl in the shop… I also really like the album.
